Today’s susine straight from mum’s garden. We’re doing everything from stewing to having the firmer ones as a fresh afternoon tea. Mum was told in the past from Italians in the know that you can’t make plum jam out of these ones. Just to prove them wrong, she whipped up quite a nice conserve. I unfortunately haven’t yet tried my hand at homemade plum jam, but you never know!
